Chateau Mayne Pargade's vineyard spans the crest of a hill loo
king down on Soulignac in the Haut Benauge in the heart of the Entre Deux Mers.  The village lies on a Gallo-Roman estate and in 1946 Roman treasure was discovered there. This is a superb white wine with a pale silvery lemon colour that has a pearlescent sheen.  Mayne Pargade is very aromatic with notes of sweet summer hay, fragrant broom blossom and beeswax.  This wine has good crisp acidity, great structure and balance with flavours of pear, quince and lime.

Mayne Pargade will pair well with roast turkey, chicken, smoked salmon and gravlax, white fish and seafood, pork, quiches and soft cheese.

Reblochon De Savoie Fermier (AOP): A mature and flavoursome farmhouse Reblochon de Savoie - a reputed, creamy French cheese from Haute Savoie with a lightly washed rind and a soft centre, which is mellow, delicate and fruity.  Also delicious with Pont l’ Eveque: Named after the town in Normandy where it is produced. It is probably one of the oldest cheeses of this area. Pont l’Eveque has a firm body and tastes savoury and piquant, with just a trace of sweetness and robust tang on the finish.

Mayne Pargarde
will accompany the flavours in Perard Crab Soup (Soup de Crabe Perard) particularly well – which is delicious with a crabcake garnish or as the base to smoky chowders.
