Our Winners

Mr F from Buckinghamshire won a case of wine worth over £130 which included Jancis Robinson's Wine of the Week:  Mathilde, t
he Second Wine of Chateau La Fleur Morange, produced by Jean-Francois and Véronique Julien with theWinner renowned Claude Gros as consultant oenologist. The wine is named after their daughter, and is made from the same 100 year old vines and terroir as the Grand Vin.

La Fleur Morange is a boutique wine in Saint-Pey-D'Armens that is receiving high acclaim from respected wine critics across the globe. The vineyard is a 4 acre plot of unique soil with the added rarity of having 100 year old vines. The soil is sand and clay layers over limestone and clinker sub soil – the only complex mixture known to exist in Saint Emilion.

Mr DW from Gloucestershire won a bottle of Champagne Authentic  Rosé Brut - made by Philippe Seconde of the renowned Champagne House Barnaut founded in 1874.  The Champagne House lies in the appropriatWinnerely named Bouzy,
situated between Reims and Epernay in the Montagne de Reims.

Philippe's Champagnes come from one of the top 17 Grand Cru vineyards - though there is no classification of Grand Cru in Champagnes these vineyards are considered to be the best of the best.  You'll find the world's most famous Champagne Houses grow their grapes in Bouzy: Taittinger, Veuve Cliquot, Moet and Chandon to name a few.

Philippe makes his Champagnes from his own vineyards unlike some other Champagne Houses who import grapes from around the area.  His grapes are predominantly the black Pinot Noir grapes and the
famous Chardonnay grape. Philippe's Champagnes are totally exclusive to Bordeaux-Undiscovered, you won't be able to find them any where else in the UK.Winner

Ms W from Hampshire won a bottle of Philippe Seconde Grande Reserve Champagne.  Grande Reserve Champagnes are those that have Champagne added to them from a reserved vintage which is the flagship of the House.
