Description & Press Reviews:
Chateau Tour Chapoux is owned by Comin family who have been winemakers since 1884 and who also own Château la Commanderie De Queyret and Château De Fraysse in Saint Antoine du Queyret on the plains of the Entre Deux Mers.
The Knights of St John of Jerusalem founded a Commandery at Saint Antoine du Queyret in the early 13th century. These soldier monks were also fine connoisseurs of wine and it is assumed that they chose to grow vines there due to the quality of the area.

Tour Chapoux i
s a fabulous pale yellow, crisp, bright white wine and is perfumed with the scents of grassy meadows, lemons, pink grapefruit, ripe pears, acacia flowers, vanilla and gorse. It's an aromatic wine and has a harmonious lingering finish.

This is a
white wine which is equally at home on its own or as the perfect compliment for seafood dishes, oysters, smoked poultry and fish, grilled pork, goats cheese and creamy chicken dishes.  Try it with fish stews such as Bouillabaisse or Bourride, pastas, Greek feta salads and Chinese pork and chicken dishes.

A surprise delivery of Bordeaux wines from an online wine shop . . . for those who appreciate quality wines but can never seem to find a reliable source . . . Chateau Tour Chapoux:  It started off rather sweet but then calmed down to a fruity and fresh summer wine.
