Description
Wine Style: Full Bodied Red

This full bodied, well balanced and fruity Cabernet Sauvignon is made by the Neogciant and owner of several chateaux in Pomerol and Saint Emilion, Jean Baptise Audy.  Founded in 1906 Jean Baptiste Audy have over a century of expertise in selecting the best wines from the best terroirs.  This wine is made from grapes that hail from vineyards in the Languedoc Roussillon, one of the oldest wine producing regions in the world.  You can't miss the mark the Romans made on the region, the Via Domitia (the road built in 118 BC to connect Spain with Italy) runs through the countryside. It is also home to the earliest winery in France built in 10 AD . . . which is still surrounded by vines today.

Typical of the Cabernet Sauvignons coming from the hot south of France this smooth wine is an intense ruby colour with flavours of ripe blackcurrants and blackberries with warm notes of  cinnamon and a touch of liquorice.  It would be great with a grilled rump steak, lamb chops, venison and strong flavoured cheese.
