Both wines are 12.5% abv from the vastly over looked 2007 vintage. Drinking very well now both wines are boasting soft rounded tannins with good layers of fruit. These wines are ideal with Lamb, Duck and a good rib of Beef. Two good slightly aged wines to have in your wine rack this Winter.
Chateau Roc de Segur 2007: Rich blackberry cassis, ripe raspberries, cedar and spice with a hint of black cherry, herbs and earthiness.
Chateau La Raballe 2007: Intense brambly flavours of ripe blackberries, blueberries, and spice and with hints of violets, graphite, oak and smoke.
