Cabernet dominated, Left Bank style Claret made distinctive by its superb structure. Good body and depth with soft tannins. Flavours of ripe blackberry, damson and red currant with notes of cloves and pepper. Very floral with aromas of violets, vanilla and herbs. A complex and expressive claret that develops over time and will age well. Good lingering finish.

45% Cabernet Franc, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot. 13% Abv. 75cl.

Domaine de Bouchet 2010 - Gold Medal × 4

A Claret in its prime from the Fronsac region on the Right Bank; substantial and layered with wonderful maturity in the mouth. Delicious full flavours of blackberry, black raspberry and rich blackcurrant with spicy nuances of dark chocolate, liquorice and caramel. A nicely intense nose of ripe redcurrant and cocoa. Mellow, stylish and full of character.

90% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. 14.5% abv. 75cl

Lush, meltingly smooth Right Bank Claret. This is the Second Wine of Chateau Joinin and its quality speaks out. Deep flavours of blueberry, blackberry jam, ripe fig and juicy morello cherry with notes of cinnamon, vanilla and charcoal. A rich blackcurrant finish with aromas of raspberry. Plush, seamless tannins with good structure.
