Product Description

Chateau BellevueChateau Bellevue is a Saint Emilion Grand Cru and is an ancient property dating back to 1642.  It is owned by the Pradel de Lavaux family and Hubert de Bouard of Saint Emilion First Growth Chateau Angelus.  The chateau sits on the hilltop which dominates the whole valley below it and it is this magnificent view that gives the chateau its name – Beautiful View.

Chateau Bellevue chaiIt’s neighbours are the First Growths Chateaux Beausejour-Bécot, Beausejour Duffau and Angelus. Surrounded by the 3 premier grand cru classés, it’s not difficult to see what potential Bellevue has. It’s wine making team of Nicolas Thienpont (of Chateau Pavie Macquin and belonging to the same family that own the outstanding Le Pin), oenologist Stéphane Derenoncourt and Hubert de Boüard are a formidable combination to boot.
