Château Vrai Caillou “Les Vignes de la Garène” is a charming Bordeaux white wine from Soussac and the chateau sits on the high plateau of the range that divides waters between the Dordogne and the Garonne rivers. This is an old estate that has been producing charismatic and polished wines for over a century. Owned by the Pommier family since 1863, Vrai Caillou’s name literally translated means ‘The True Chateau of Rock’.
Vrai Caillou will pair very well with seafood such as scallops, prawns, lobster, moules mariniere, smoked chowders, salmon, trout and white fish. It’s also great with warm chicken salads and mild cheeses.
